About Us

We’re a young couple who are very excited to welcome you to Sark and to Home Farm, which is not just a holiday let for us, but part of our home.

Taking on Home Farm has been a dream, and we’re gradually restoring and caring for it with love, aiming to create a relaxed, welcoming place where people can truly enjoy their time on the island. We both care deeply about Sark, its community, and its natural environment, and we love sharing that with our guests.

When we’re not working on the house or garden, you’ll usually find us outdoors — sea swimming, foraging, carriage driving, caring for our animals, or getting involved in community events. Life on Sark is simple, active, and closely connected to nature, and that’s very much reflected in how we live and host.

We live in a small annex next to the house, so while the accommodation is completely self-contained, we’re always nearby if you need anything — whether it’s local tips, help with something practical, or just a friendly chat.

Aneta

Originally from the Czech Republic, I first came to Sark in 2024 to work with horses and learn more about carriage driving. I quickly fell in love — with George, with the island, and with the unique way of life here — and decided to make Sark my home.

Horses and dogs have always been a big part of my life, but living on Sark has helped me develop an even deeper appreciation for nature, the sea, and the slower, outdoor-focused lifestyle. Home Farm gives me the opportunity to share that love for Sark with our guests and help them experience what makes this island so special.

George

I was born and raised on Sark, and my family and community are incredibly important to me. Developing Home Farm and welcoming people into our home is something I’m very proud of.

Sark truly is a special place, and I love helping families and visitors make the most of their time here. With a practical background, I enjoy fixing, mending, and making things, and my favourite job is working as one of the island’s part-time harbour crane operators — a role that perfectly sums up Sark life: hands-on, communal, and a little bit unique.

Arrive in style

Why not arrive in perfect Sark style with a private horse drawn carriage. Available through our close neighbours, Helen’s Sark Carriages, you can arrange a carriage on arrival or departure, or a tour of the island during your stay.
